The first step on many people’s health journey is to obtain a gym membership. Truly, this is completely unnecessary. You can purchase very cheap and simple equipment, which will provide just as good of a workout, and can be done from the comfort of your own home. For as little as $30, the average person can obtain everything they need for a very effective home-based workout.



A large falsehood, believed by many, is that you must use supplements in order to get in shape. Without a good solid meal plan, supplements will get you nowhere. Remember that all supplements are also supposed to be used for exactly that; as a supplement to a clean meal plan.


Work Long.

It is not necessary to exercise for long, drawn out periods of time in order to see results. This misconceived notion is not only false, but dangerous. The optimal exercise time is between 45 to 75 minutes. After this amount of time, the body reaches a point of exhaustion and uses increased hormones, as well as eats off muscle tissue in order to keep the body going. This can be detrimental to not only your results, but your body in general.
